Born on August 14, 1969, in Nowy Targ. A Master’s graduate in Tourism and Recreation (GWSH in Katowice), former Polish ice hockey representative, Olympian at the Albertville Winter Olympics (1992), national team coach, and active sports and local government advocate.
He played 66 matches for the Polish national team, participating in the Winter Olympic Games and eight World Championships. On the domestic ice hockey scene, he represented clubs such as Podhale Nowy Targ, Cracovia, GKS Katowice, and KTH Krynica, winning 7 Polish Championship titles, 4 times finishing as runner-up, and 3 times securing a bronze medal at the national championships.
