Born on March 12, 1972, in Warsaw. He is a graduate of philosophical studies at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. He also completed postgraduate studies in corporate law at the Warsaw School of Economics in the Department of Management and Finance.

He has been associated with the Polish Basketball Association (PZKosz) since 1993, initially as an intern, and from 1996 as a full-time employee. He has gone through all the stages of his career in the association’s administration, serving as the director of the PZKosz office from 2000 to 2004, and as the secretary general of PZKosz for 10 months in 2004-2005.

He was an international referee for many years, from 1999 to 2009.

From 2011 to 2018, he served as the president of the Polish Basketball Association. He has been long associated with the Board of FIBA Europe, where since May 2023, he has served as the Treasurer. In October 2024, he was re-elected as the president of PZKosz.
