Michał Pycio

Vice President of the Management Board of the Association of Security Experts of the Republic of Poland

From 1993 to 2012, a soldier of the Polish Armed Forces. After graduating from the T. Kościuszko Military Academy in Wrocław in 1997, he began service in the Military Police as a platoon commander. In 1998, after completing selection, he joined the JW GROM special forces unit, where he served in combat roles until his transition to the reserve in 2012. He concluded his service with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, as commander of a Combat Team. During this time, he participated in missions in Afghanistan (2001, 2007, 2012) and Iraq (2004). For his role in combat operations, he was awarded the Commander’s Cross of the Order of the Military Cross.

Currently, he is an entrepreneur actively working in the special trade sector. Since 2012, he has served as Vice President of the Association of Security Experts of the Republic of Poland.
